My Story
Losing my beloved mum to breast cancer has been the worst thing to have to deal with. Mum was such a big part of our lives and being without her leaves such a big hole in our lives. Since 2012 when we lost her every year I have taken part in a race for life event and this year is no different, along with Imogen who is doing in her grandmother's memory. Mum is gone but never forgotten and I hope by raising money and we all pull together one day a cure can be found and the pain can end. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
