I'm raising as much as I can for Cancer Research, and for the life-saving results their work can thankfully facilitate.

Thanks to a wonderful medical team, the work of charities like Cancer Research and amazing grace, my family's experience with cancer last year had a happy ending. I know that this is, tragically, not a universal result. Following my family's good news, I wanted to show my immense gratitude by running to raise money for Cancer Research and support this charity which is working so hard to make happy endings a reality for all.

Although not a natural runner, my role model, best friend and reason for running is; and while this small personal challenge pales in comparison with the serious challenges she faced, I hope to commemorate her efforts in this run, and to have fun and raise money for a great cause on 17/03/2019.
