I’m taking part in Shine Night Walk to help beat cancer

Thank you for looking at my page and thinking about donating.

I’ll be thinking of my Nana Eileen and my Grandad Den while I walk the Shine walk and praying that future generations don’t have to deal with this stuff, with the help of Cancer Research.

For Nana Eileen, who was a very shiny person in my life. I’m walking to keep her memory alive for my little girl Lois who didn’t quite arrive in time to meet her. And stretching my legs on behalf of her husband, GG, who would walk 500miles, if his legs would let him.

For Grandad Den, who is missed by so many people, for his generosity and sense of fun. He probably wouldn’t have walked the 10k but would've happily driven it in an Austin Seven.

with love
Rach x

Diagnosing cancer early

Spotting cancer early improves the chances of successful treatment. That's why Cancer Research UK is doing everything it can to ensure that more people are diagnosed at an earlier stage. Your donation can help fund research into screening tests and other ways to detect cancer early.
