Shine London 2018 - Full Marathon
Sat 22 Sep 2018
I'm walking at Shine Night Walk in the fight to beat cancer and because I can, and I wouldn't have always thought that.
My mum and I signed up for this in a moment of madness to celebrate the fact that we both could. After my mum getting through cancer and 10 years since I broke my back, it seemed like a good challenge for us both, we are both here and we can walk, your safe money would not have been on that this time 10 years ago! Unfortunately my mum had broken her foot and now can't do the walk, but, with a complex medication regime planned I have decided I am going to tackle it alone. It would be great if you could sponsor me to give me an extra boost on the night, and if I can raise money on my mum's behalf too (who did a lot of training!) that would be great. Thanks --------------------------------------- Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
