My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k Sunday 11th June at Cassio park Watford to raise money and save lives. Last year Liz was diagnosed with cancer. She went through 3 rounds of chemo and couldn't complete the last part as she became to ill to go on. We watched her disappear before our eyes and eventually after a painful struggle she past away at the end of Feb. Leaving our lives in pieces and 3 broken hearted grandchildren and us. 2 weeks before Liz passed I also lost my Uncle Gary to cancer. Gary unlike Liz did not know he had cancer and struggled through the pain without the support he could have had if he had known. He was a very brave man. I didn't know what people with cancer went through it's horrendous no one should end there life in this cruel way. I have done a couple of runs before and believe we should all play our part as you never know when it could hit your family. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Even the smallest donation will help and who really misses a fiver. Plus this course is harder than last year and it's gonna hurt ? Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe and your money is sent to the charity. Hope you can help and please feel free to chear me on and supply me with cold water on the way! Thanks everyone for the support you have showed us throughout this hard time. Let's do this xxx
