My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. As many of you know, I absolutely love a beverage or two, so this will definitely be a challenge for me! I am raising money to help fight and provide support for this terrible disease. I know many people who have had cancer and fought it and also sadly, those who have passed on like my aunty Caron in July 2016 and a close friend's dad, Mike in June 2016. Any donations to help achieve my £500 target will be hugely grateful! Thank you in advance. Rachel xxx

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
