Let's do this.
In memory of
Anne Sheridan-McCoy (Grandma)
For those of you who know me well, you may be shocked to see that I am taking part in a 5K run which will no doubt induce several flashbacks of those harrowing PE sessions at high school. I am equally shocked that I am participating in this 5K run, and it's all thanks to my wonderful friend Shivvy. Isn't she just a doll for signing me up to this? AS A SURPRISE. What a gal. In all seriousness, it's time to do something. I've had enough of seeing how cancer can destroy lives and cause so much heartache, and even if this gesture only raises awareness and makes somebody somewhere feel supported, it's totally worth it. Please sponsor me by donating as much of your cold hard cash as you possibly can and I promise I will repay you all by posting some horrendous post-run sweaty-faced images as evidence (and let's face it, mainly for your entertainment). Thank-you in advance for being so generous, no pressure but you need to donate now...chop chop! : )
