My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. This is in memory of my nan and to help raise money to find further research into the disease & try prevent loved ones been taken from others so soon. My nan was only 67 & had so much more to give to others and life. She spent most of her life caring for others, in social adult care and healthcare. Plus the large family she kept anchored together. For me this is about doing something for my nan. 10,000 steps a day doesn't seem like many and when I worked 12 hour shifts it was easily achieved. But as a student & mother, 10,000 steps feels impossible, so for me...this is deffiantly going to be a challenge.
