Amy & I are walking 10,000 steps a day for the whole of March to raise money for cancer research

My Story

My lovely daughter Amy, and I are going to walk 10,000 steps a day - be it up and down stairs, across fields, around the office or University, in our sleep - to raise money for cancer research and to keep ourselves fit and healthy. We'll spur each other on, have a laugh and enjoy each others company as we do it - Mother and daughter, enjoying our relationship, as I have enjoyed, and continue to enjoy my relationship with my own dear, wonderful Mum, as she lives out her remaining time with us, lessened now by her own cancer diagnosis. Sharing fundraising with and for family members is a wonderful way of becoming even closer and can be quite special. I look forward to tramping fields and carpets with Amy over the next month.
