I'm taking on Sweatember to raise money for Cancer Research UK, please support me.

It seems that far too many lovely people who I think are pretty awesome have been affected by the big C recently. Help me make a little difference by supporting me on this challenge to excercise every day in September and raise some money for Cancer Research UK. Hoping for excercise buddies, encouragement and your hard earned cash!

I’m two thirds of the way into the challenge and it’s all going well apart from a bit of a dodgy knee. It’s been harder than I expected to fit exercise into my schedule, especially when I have busy days working late. Your donations have kept me going though and I’m making sure that on days I work late, I get an extra few thousand steps into my day, or do some excercises at home. My new Fitbit has been a great motivator too and really gives me a push to try to get over 10,000 steps. So far ive done a big Zumba session, a couple of gym visits, lots of walking (apparently nearly 230,000 steps so far this month), some home circuits of weights, crunches, jumping jacks, squats etc. lots of lovely yoga and my favourite - samba drumming. Im really feeling the benefit in myself too. Looking forward to the next 10 days 😊
