Rachael's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page

Cancer is cruel, it takes the ones we love, whether a short battle or a long war, many people do not win their battles and those who do must fight bravely for it. It would be very difficult to find someone in the UK today who does not know of someone who has passed away from cancer. Within my own family there have been losses along with success stories. In the 1960s two members of my family passed away, one from a brain tumour and the other from a type of bone cancer very commonly survived today. That is why Cancer Research UK is so important, so that a cancer diagnosis is becoming a death sentence less and less commonly. While we all still know those fighting their battles, some losing, some coping, some not, we hopefully may all know someone who has overcome cancer and is now back in good health. That is the goal. It is research which makes that goal possible. That is why I am asking you to donate anything you can. Throughout March I will be walking 10,000 steps a day in order to fundraise for this fantastic charity. Walking All Over Cancer is a simple concept but promotes mental and physical health as well as a feeling of accomplishment. I am honoured to have the opportunity to fundraise for Cancer Research UK and thank you for visiting this page. Any donation, big or small will be massively appreciated and put to brilliant use.
