My Story
Those of you that know me will know I’m not a runner so this is going to be a challenge but it’s one that is very important to me. I lost my dad to cancer before I was old enough to remember him, I lost my beautiful aunt and I watched my wonderful grandmother fight through chemo and radiotherapy. I’ve seen friends fight and win, and fight and lose but they have all been stronger and braver than I could have ever imagined. Everyone is affected by cancer at some time in their lives. We can all do our little bit to help the fight against this awful disease and this is my little bit. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
