Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. It hurts me so much to say that I lost my wonderful mum to this dreadful disease. This is the second year that we will race for life for her and it doesn’t get any easier. We miss her.... everyday. Aden has been trying to make sense of not being able to see her and is making a beautiful memory box at school. He’s desperate to make a difference so that more people don’t have to go through this pain. We miss the moments that we shared and so we hold on so tight to the memories that made her so very special.
