Cancer effects every single one of us in some way! Family, friend, neighbour, colleague etc. Unfortunately I’ve lost people to this dreadful disease and witnessed others suffer. If, by running the Race for Life I can help Cancer Research UK to gain a better understanding and save somebody, then I will be happy. Every penny you donate will be gratefully received! I’d like to think that my wonderful dad, who lost his brave battle with cancer, will be looking down and smiling with pride!
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
