My Story

A Chapter a Day for Cancer Research UK 📚❤️ If you know me, you'll know that books are a big part of my life! Between my own reading, keeping busy running Little Library Marshside and enjoying our Book Club, I spend a lot of time talking about books, sharing recommendations and encouraging both adults and children to make time for reading. I enjoy listening to audiobooks too, especially when I can multitask! After all, there's always something to be done, and a good story makes the jobs much more enjoyable. So, for November, I've decided to put my love of reading towards something really important by taking on the Read Every Day challenge for Cancer Research UK. Throughout November, I'll be making time to read every single day. Some days it might be a few chapters curled up with a coffee; on busier days, it might just be a few pages before bed or some audiobook time while I'm getting on with other things. And if I'm really engrossed in a good book, who knows how long I'll keep reading! Reading is something I love, but cancer is something that affects so many people and their families. By taking on this challenge, I hope to do my little bit to help fund the research that could make a real difference to people's lives.
