Earlier this year my partner Miha passed away from Stomach Cancer. From the time she first got unwell, she had several tests and long waits for results that meant that by the time they finally got a diagnosis it was too late to save her and she passed away a week before she was due to start chemotherapy. I have chosen for my donations to go towards the early detection of cancer in the hope that they make sufficient improvements, meaning other people do not have to experience the fear and frustration that we did.
