At Hardwick, we want to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK. Please sponsor us!
My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School was one of the first schools to run a Race for Life in 2015. We trained hard and collected sponsorship and smashed our goal of £1,200. We raised over £5,500! Now, after a year off, we are ready to do it again. This time, we want to do even better! Our event is being organised by a Golden Morning group of 20 children. Here is a list of the things we have to do to plan this event! Register and order the race pack, count out medals, sponsor forms and back signs. Write letters to parents and local businesses asking for sponsorship and items we need such as safety pins and ice lollies! We will be making posters and banners to advertise our event. We plan to contact the local newspaper to invite them to come and write a story. We are doing all of this because we want to help Cancer Research UK. We loved doing it last time and we can't wait to do it again. This time, we are in friendly competition with our other site at Cambourne!
