I did race for life last year for my beautiful mum who was battling cancer. Last year I raised £190 on my giving page and my target this year is to try and beat it. Unfortunately my mum passed away August last year and is truly missed by everyone who knew her. My mum was a truly inspirational lady who was so brave throughout her battle. I said I would participate in race for life every year but due to everything going on this year I am unable to so I have decided to do it from home. Please donate, big or small. it all counts xxx

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
