Race For Life 2019

My Story

This year I will be running the race for life with my friends, they have been there for me through everything. I will be running for my nana who lost her fight in January last year and for my grandma who is fighting cancer, she’s so strong and we all love her so much! We will also be running for everyone who has fought cancer, or fighting cancer and for anyone who’s family/friends have lost their fight to cancer, because we know together we can beat cancer! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
