Let's improve research into all cancers and give more people a chance
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I had breast cancer in 2015 and after 2 operations chemo and radiotherapy am grateful for all the work that has been done to make it possible for me to do this race. My daughter is currently being treated for brain cancer. Operations, radiotherapy and chemo are a regular part of our lives. My father-in-law died as a result of prostate cancer in 1992. I'm also a vicar and have lost count of the funerals I have taken of people who have journeyed with the devastating consequences of a cancer diagnosis 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
