Shine London 2019 - Half Marathon
Sat 21 Sep 2019 - Sat 21 Sep 2019
Life is full of surprises and unfortunately, not all surprises are good news…. Early this year my father was diagnosed with urothelial cancer during a routine health checkup. Although, the cancer hadn’t spread to other parts of his body, he had to be operated straightaway and then undergo gruelling chemotherapy sessions. Fortunately, his recent test results are clear and hopefully he is now on a road to recovery. This has no doubt been a stressful and a scary experience for me and my family but has also made us stronger and more determined to fight against cancer. In my small attempt to raise awareness on cancer, I will be walking Half Marathon this Sat 21st Sep and will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK. As cancer impacts our near and dear’s lives, we need to support more for this cause and find a cure soon. Thank you for all your support! xxx
