I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner! So our future can be brighter.

So many people are affected by this disease and are challenged daily living with it, fighting through it. I am wanting to do something that will make a difference and really challenge. Starting with 5k then who knows what next!

"Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now."

I know too many people that have lost their battle to cancer, but I also know more that have won their battle all down to the phenomenal treatment they have received down to the amazing research that has been carried out because of fundraisers like this!

The cure might not be there yet but every day we are getting closer to saving an extra life. You only have to donate a small amount, because as Tesco does always say: 'Every little helps!'
