Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. I am also participating in these events in order to become more physically and mentally healthy. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I have family members who unfortunately have had cancer and/or still have cancer and are being treated. Therefore, I feel that Cancer Research is an amazing charity to try and raise funds for!

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
