My Story
I will be walking from Plymouth to Bournemouth to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is now so prevalent, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with it during their lifetime. It changes people physically & mentally, and sometimes it tragically kills them. I have known too many people suffer from this terrible disease. Cancer charities need our support now more than ever to continue their vital work. Cancer Research UK estimates that they have lost around £300million this year due to fundraising events being cancelled due to the coronavirus. Come on, folks! Let's raise as much as we can! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
