In memory of
Hazel Curtis and Peter Curtis
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life. In July 2011 sadly my nan died of breast cancer, in September 2015 my grandad passed away due to leukemia. I am trying to raise money and awareness for people who have lost their fight to cancer, won their fight to cancer, are fighting cancer and their families. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
