Pinky is doing the marathon for CRUK
Shine London 2019 - Full Marathon
Sat 21 Sep 2019 - Sat 21 Sep 2019
Way too many people are affected by BIG C. Over the past few months I've lost friends, my friends lost their loved ones. It has to stop.
This year I want to dedicate it to few people: - Kasia Lutkiewicz - my friend, ultimate warrior. Biggest inspiration. Still here with the biggest smile on her face - Con Murphy who unfortunately lost his battle with myeloma few weeks ago. - Karen Bright - My dear friend Mark's Mum who lost her battle in Dec 2018 - my ex husband Pepe who won his battle years ago. By now, we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. What I have learned is - don't take things for granted. Appreciate life. Live it to the fullest. Tell your loved ones You care about them. This September I will be doing a full marathon for Cancer Research UK. Every penny you donate will go to CRUK and their research. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
