My mum
My Story
The end of January 2024, marks 15 years since my mum passed away due to the effects of cancer. She loved to dance, so to honour her, and the many other friends and family members that have fought, or are fighting, this terrible disease, I'm taking part in Strickly Brackley 2024. This is a 8 week ballroom dancing competition cumulating in a show in front of judges (you've all seen the show, you know how it works) Those who know me will know that this is not in my comfort zone. In fact, I am so far outside of it that I can't even see it from here. May all the gods be with whomever I am partnered with and trains (or rather teaches) me. Please support me on my journey and come at watch at the final show (it will be more slapstick comedy than dancing for me, I suspect) Your support is greatly appreciated and will help others in their fight against cancer.
