This March, the Pier team has committed to walking a staggering 50,000 steps a day to raise money for Cancer Research UK, which equates to a whopping 1.5 million steps over the month! We like to think we are an active bunch, however there is no denying this is going to be a challenge; it’s the equivalent of walking the length of Britain plus a little extra for good measure. Lots of us here in the office have been affected by cancer in some way, so we thought it was time to pull our socks up and start walking towards finding a cure for this heart-breaking disease. Please dig deep and give whatever you can to support this invaluable charity.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
