In memory of
My fabulous mum who is not only my friend but my all time hero as well...
Cancer I becoming more and more common in peoples every-day lives and personally over the past couple of months it has become a part of my family's lives. We are a small family of 4 with a close relationship with each-other. We received the news in February that our lovely mum Lynn had be diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After the first operation they discovered the Cancer has spread through her lymph nodes. This news was a massive shock to our family. However, our Mum is now 3 operations in and as a family we have become closer then ever and we will not let Cancer dampen our close bond with each-other. Our mum is a major part of our lives and we are so lucky that Cancer has not beaten us. Our amazing Mum continues to thrive through the process and forever comes back stronger, Cancer will not beat our family which is why I wanted to take part in the Race For Life to show that we can beat Cancer.
