My Story
In December my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, she's currently going through chemotherapy and will then go on to have an operation to get the cancer removed. The word cancer is such a strong word and I'm not afraid to admit it scares me a hell of a lot, it's taken the life of many people I've loved and lost but fortunately the probability that my mum will beat it is almost definite. That is all thanks to the development of medicine and treatment and it goes to show that the money from cancer research goes such a long way! By donating even a small amount makes such a difference, the support my family have had is amazing and I can't thank my friends enough, but even if you don't know me well or if you don't know me at all, this is a perfect excuse to do something kind for not just me but millions of men and women and their families! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so if you could find it in your hearts to sponsor me I'd appreciate it so much. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
