Phil's Sub 3 to beat the Big C
2019 Brighton Marathon
Sun 14 Apr 2019 - Sun 14 Apr 2019
In memory of
Hazel Gidney
Sadly Cancer has touched my life in the last 18 months. Hazel, my best friend's mum (who I'd known since the age of 14) sadly past away in November after a battle with throat cancer. She died on the same day my mum got the news she has breast cancer. 2 weeks later another very good friend's mum found out she also has breast cancer. The 3 of us have always been super competitive but this just takes the biscuit!!! I've decided to turn my anger into energy and have signed up for the Brighton Marathon. I'm trying to complete it in under 3 hours. I'm training hard in all conditions so please spur me on and support a great charity to help kick cancer's ass! As a small bonus, if you pledge £20 or more and send me your guess of my actual finish time you'll be in with a chance of winning breakfast for 4 at Green Rooms B&B!
