My Story
What better way to think about raising money than going back to my home town...... Having watched several relatives battle and beat various cancers over the past few years I thought it only right to run and raise funds for more research to allow more people to try and beat this disease. Nothing prepares you for when someone close tells you that they have been diagnosed with cancer and the months that follow of not knowing whether an all clear will come back or if further treatment is necessary. However, as it stands all have beaten the varying cancers which in part is due to the research and progress that has been made by people like Cancer Research UK to make diagnosis quicker and treatment more effective.
