My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. From my Grandma to my Aunt to my mother-in-law and my friends, cancer has taken too many loved ones from us over the years, some old and some far too young. Cancer does not discriminate but last year I was 25.6 stone and increasing my chances of getting this horrific disease every day. My inspiration to change that is in my profile picture. I want to teach her to be healthy and I can only do that by showing her the way. I am now a svelte 19.3 stone haha, mid-way through changing my life and want to do some good along the journey. Whilst I may not be able to determine my future, I can make changes and hopefully help this amazing cause whilst doing so. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I will be pedalling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Like all of us, charities have been hit so hard this year but maybe a couple of pints less, a smaller pizza or even crappy Aldi beans for a week might just help save a few quid to throw this way. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page if you can. Thank you so much.
