My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. As many of my close family and friends know, I have never EVER enjoyed running. But I’m determined to change that! So over the next few months I’m aiming to get myself fit and ready to run the Staffordshire 10k Tough Runner. Trust me when I say, this will be a challenge for me!! When my son Jacob found out I’d registered to run this, he straight away asked if he could run with me but desperately wanted to raise money for Cancer Research. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
