My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. There are members of my family, friends of my family and family of my friends who have all lost their individual battles with cancer. I'm lucky to know a couple of people who've won their fight and are still in remission. I'm hugely proud to have a sister who's a scientist and who is involved in cancer research and this is my way of doing my bit...to help the fight against cancer. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
