In memory of

Theresa and Marie

My Story

Ive been doing the Race for Life since I lost my mum, Theresa, her memory still drives me on. I still miss her so very much. Since then my Dad, my Auntie Judith, my brother Joe, my friend Anna, my friends Liz and Nikki, are all still fighting. There are so many more. More recently I have lost a young friend Marie and cruelly in less than a year her sister Emma was diagnosed with the same Cancer. I have lost and know too many people affected by cancer. Im going to try 10K this time as I have been inspired by the bravery, stamina and courage of my beautiful friend Emma, she really is amazing. She is cancer free and doing so well and now thanks to the amazing NHS is looking forward to a bright future. Emma has received incredible care, support and preventative surgery due to the type of genetic cancer that affected her sister, but all this and research that goes into ground breaking treatments costs, so please any pennies you have please donate, in memory of those we have lost, loved and those who are still surviving this terrible disease. I hope I can do you all justice as I can assure you that 10K wont come easy, never done it! Ive got one week and my lush friend Karen is going to help me! We won’t let 2020 stop us.
