I’m hoping this will be the first of many charity events I do. I’m doing this for my dad who we lost to a mixture of prostate cancer and what he actually died of, MRSA in a local hospital. This is also a personal goal for me, and I know that doing 5k to most people may seem easy, but after a life changing accident in 2007 I was left with a disabled right leg that still has no quadricep muscle attached. so I’m hoping that my knee brace and crutches will be forgiving. My lovely 8 yr old niece is joining me as she loves walking, running limbo going and biking.
