For peoples amusement...I’ve somehow been persuaded to take part in a sponsored 10k. Yes I’m already regretting the decision. I've decided in 2019 I will run the Manchester 10k and raise money for Cancer Research. I've wanted to do my bit for charity and in the past you may be aware I've taken part in Children in Need, Comic Relief and Stand Up 2 Cancer telethons. But I want to do more...I am looking to initially raise £250 from my efforts and hopefully if this goes well it will open up the potential to do more things for more charities in future There are those close to me who have been affected by cancer and i'm sure if you think about it either someone close to you has been affected directly by or knows someone who's been affected by cancer. I’ve never tried to raise this amount of money before other than for sponsored silences at school (which were surprisingly well received) So if you can donate anything at all I would hugely appreciate it!
