Starting in January, together with some great friends I will be running a marathon in the course of a month for six months, in aid of Cancer Research UK. Cancer has affected people we care about and we all have our own motivation for completing the Marathon a Month challenge. However the key motivation has been our friend Graham who sadly lost his lovely Mum to cancer in July 2020. The aim is simple, to raise some money for a worthy cause and generate hope, to give some comfort to families who are going through similar challenging times.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
