I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

My dad and my friends Ray, Janis, Michael, Liz and Chrissie

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

20 years ago I lost my dad to cancer. He was immensely brave and never once complained but I will never ever forget the sight of his tears as we had to take him back to hospital for what turned out to be the last time. If what I raise with this run can possibly make a difference to someone else's life and stop this happening then I will do my very best.

I also run in memory of my friends - Ray (my friend and fixer), Janis (my coffee buddie), Michael (Smiler) and Chrisse.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.
