My father died of Cancer and it was a horrible experience watching a fit man deteriorate to to nothing before he died. Since then I have lost friends and colleagues to this disease and dealt with families who had the same. Watching families and loved ones go through what I went through is heart breaking every time. I’ll never get used to it as it hurts. It’s time to stand up to Cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
