2019 Paris Marathon
Sun 14 Apr 2019 - Sun 14 Apr 2019
In honour of those who have survived and not survived cancer!! My little part in working to beat this thing.
Many of you will know I run a lot. Probably too much if I'm honest. My girlfriend calls me Forrest. Nothing to do with my running, more to do with my beard. Anyway, many of you will not know is I have only completed one marathon. I run more than a half marathon often. But the Leicester Marathon, completed in 2017 was my first attempt and it was hard. Very hard. So, to complete another one it would have to be for a very special reason. And it is. Too many of my friends, family and colleagues have suffered and often passed away because of this horrible disease. I think we are close to a cure, but to get there, we need to raise as much money as possible. So that's the reason why I'm running this. Oh, and its an excuse for a trip to Paris. To help this cause, I would really appreciate your support with a donation. If you donate, not only will I suffer the pain of completing the marathon, I will post as many pictures of me and my girlfriend as possible (I'm sure this will help with your digestive system). Anyway, thanks for your support and love to you all. Paul xx
