Paul's Cycle 300 Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. It’s been an awful time during this COVID situation but one positive for me is that back in March I bought a bike and have regularly cycled to do some much-needed exercise and thoroughly enjoyed doing so. It’s done me the world of good losing a lot of unnecessary weight and I feel so much better for it. At the age of nearly 62 I have decided to take part in this Charity Cycle Challenge on behalf of Cancer Research UK in honour of the many family and friends who have suffered from cancer and all funds I raise will go towards supporting the fight against this awful disease. During one week in September 2020, my goal is to cycle a 300 miles round trip, Sea to Sea (C2C) from Whitley Bay on the East coast of the UK to Workington on the West Coast of the UK, including a slight detour into Dumfries, Scotland then returning back to Whitley Bay via the Lake District & North Pennines. I will be pedalling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
