Paul "Turtle" Jones cycle 300 miles

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my mountain bike for Cancer Research UK. The reason I decided to help raise money is because I was diagnosed with a T2 cancer on my right vocal chord and underwent a month of Radiotherapy to Zap the little blighter at the end of 2017. Even though most of you will know someone who has been affected by cancer, I was still shocked by the amount of people being treated at the same time as myself. One thing I will never forget was the bravery (and sense of humour) shown by other patients in a far, far worse position than myself. So im doing this for you....The real heroes. Even though I cant say im officially cancer free for another 4 years, all my check ups have been clear so far. Hopefully one day this will be the outcome for anyone diagnosed with cancer. Until then I will be pedalling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
