My Story
Every day people are given the news that they have Cancer – one of those people maybe a family member, a friend, a work colleague even one of our beloved pets. Research has come a long way in recent years and survival rates increase all the time but this disease is still out there, it does not discriminate and treatment can still be gruelling. Every penny raised helps to move forward towards a cure. 35 years ago I lost my Mum to cancer – in memory of her and to raise money for Cancer Research I am taking part in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life on 22 June 2019 in Bedford – come along and watch, even sign up to take part with me, or try to donate something (no matter how small) to help me reach my target. I am one of those who has benefited from the research . . . 13 years clear this year! Thank you
