I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner, cancer is vile it takes people far too soon research has achieved so much we need to fund the dedicated people working to end it.

My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I’m here now because of the dedicated people at Cancer Research UK. We all know someone who has been affected by this disease research is what is going to help those diagnosed with cancer, without research there would be no great strides forward in the fight against this disease.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
