Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I’ve decided to take part in raising funds for this charity because none of us ever know if we might need treatment for cancer in the future. Also, it’s my 65th birthday this month and I’ve decided to give rather than receive, in order to help this amazing charity. Just to add that Tony will be taking part with me and we will not actually be running but walking the 5k!
