My Story
Hello everyone and thank you for being here! My name is Pauline, I am 29 years old and I will be swimming across the English Channel in August 2022. I would like to use this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. I have been deeply touched by the distress of my family and friends with cancer. And more personally, by the loss of my mother in 2020. With your support, my challenge will help many people and their families by funding cancer research. I have chosen to donate 100% of the proceeds to two cancer research charities, the Institut Paoli-Calmettes in France and Cancer Research UK in the UK, which illustrates my strong attachment to both countries (and that's good, because moving from one to the other is the whole point! ) Many thanks for your support, and see you on one of the beaches of the Pas-De-Calais between the 3rd and the 9th of August! Pauline

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
