My Story

Over the last 40 years, Cancer Research UK’s work has helped double breast cancer survival. That's why we are taking part in Race for Life at Home for Sarah Harding. Every pound you can donate will help towards Cancer Research UK’s life-saving breast cancer research, so please sponsor us today. If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community like we have, then sign up at Sarah was just 39 years old when she sadly passed away. We were willing her to make it to her big 40th, which coincidentally would have been on the same day as Paula's, but sadly it was not meant to be. Please help us raise money to help less people suffer, like darling Sarah. We would have loved to have joined Girls Aloud in London, where they are taking part, however, we are unable to. Therefore we will be doing a local route. We will let you know more... Thank you.

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
