I look around and see this disease destroying lives and families I don't like it one bit. It's a cruel, quick nasty mover. My mother died of ovarian cancer last September. It took her 6mths to be diagnosed ever though she had quite classic symptoms. By the time it was detected she was stage 4 and the cancer had spread to multiple places. She worked hard to complete chemo but it took it's toil. She was starting to show progress on a drugs trial but as the cancer had over taken her body this caused her to become very weak and in turn led to her death. Let's raise money to improve knowledge understanding, diagnostics and better outcomesxxxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
